IWCF Workshop: Enhancing crew competency in well control

By Training

In this highly interactive 2-day workshop IWCF aim to get feedback from our diverse membership so we can continue to further our mission to enhance well control competency within the E&P industry.

We will be hosting a variety of workstations to encourage participation and interaction from our members. Based around 3 key themes – Well Intervention, Human Factors and Learning Methods – the work stations will give our members the chance to help address the challenges and influence the improvements required within well control training.

The work stations will be hosted by a team of international experts and will provide the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics at each work station, as well as review case studies and network with the IWCF team.

Our aim is for this unique workshop to be as interactive as possible. We want to engage and listen to our members. We want you to provide us with feedback and suggestions for future activities, to help shape our industry.

The workshop is taking place on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th December at PDO in Muscat, Oman and is free for all IWCF members to take part in.

Please contact workshop@iwcf.org if there is any additional topics you think we should include in the first IWCF workshop, or if you have a case study that you wish to share on the day.

Feedback from the workshop will be collated into a Members report which will be sent to all attendees soon after the event.

This is a must attend event for our members which will give an excellent opportunity to let your voice be heard and help shape the future of well control competency.

Places are limited so sign up today to secure your place at the first IWCF workshop.
