Well Academy, formed in 2020, comprising of Murchison Drilling Schools – USA, Welltrain – Australia and The Well Academy – Netherlands, is an international recognised training organisation providing the energy sector with a range of integrated learning and development solutions.
Our programs provide participants with the necessary tools to increase awareness, strengthen competence and provide confidence when working in job specific roles.
Our global pool of instructors engage participants in discussing everyday scenarios and placing our invaluable training into context, ensuring effective training is implemented in accordance with our IWCF accreditation requirements.
Notable achievements:
- First and only training provider offering IWCF Well Control Engineer and Approving Authority, previously known as Level 5.
- An industry leader in the development team based scenario well control and of IWCF Enhanced Well Control training.
- Active participation in IWCF technical taskforces in support of improved and relevant program syllabi for both Drilling Well Control & Well Intervention Pressure Control.

Well Academy Apeldoorn
A first class training facility located in the centre of The Netherlands only one hour from Schiphol airport. On entering the facility, delegates can enjoy a tea or coffee in the open plan break out area before commencing the class in one of our three spacious classrooms. For practical training and assessment we offer both full size and portable simulation.
