- Introduction to calculations
- Volumes, capacities and displacements
- Tripping and wellbore geometry
- Gas and gas laws
- The circulating system
Why use it?
- It aims to reduces the risk of calculator errors during assessments and on the job
- Aligns with IWCF’s global calculation formats, terminology, and abbreviations.
- Although the resource aims to help candidates understand basic oilfield calculations, it is not a substitute for instructor-led training. It can be used as a useful resource to help candidates before they attend well control training.
