Drilling well control programme
Candidates can access this course online through IWCF accredited training providers. To complete the certification, candidates must successfully pass a Level 2 assessment, which can be completed either face-to-face or virtually via an accredited training centre. This assessment is separate from the self-paced online course modules.
Who should take Level 2?
- Wellsite operations team members whose role could directly contribute to the creation, detection or control of a well influx or lack of well integrity
Course format:
- 20-hour self-paced online modules from an IWCF accredited training provider
- Must pass a face-to-face or virtual Level 2 assessment (70% or higher) within 6 months of completing online modules

- Learn to Drill – Level 2 Drilling Well Control
- Maersk Training – Level 2 Drilling Well Control
*There are currently no providers for Level 2 Online Well Intervention Pressure Control.
