About the Role:
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the Communications and PR Specialist in implementing marketing initiatives, organising events, and enhancing digital engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is well-organised, eager to learn, and passionate about digital marketing.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist with:
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on digital marketing performance.
- Uploading and managing content on the website back-end.
- Researching new ideas for events, campaigns, and merchandise.
- Organising and tracking departmental documents, stock for promotional event materials, and ordering merchandise.
- Supporting event planning and logistics to ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and monitor marketing performance through tools such as Google Analytics and social media platforms.
- Assist in creating reports and provide insights based on survey and campaign data.
- Help identify trends and make recommendations for marketing strategies.
- Digital Marketing Support:
- Assist in the implementation of digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise content and marketing strategies.
- Support audience segmentation and targeted communications for both B2B and B2C marketing initiatives.
- Event Coordination & Administration:
- Support event planning, including logistics, promotional materials, and on-site coordination.
- Help organise hybrid events, ensuring a seamless experience for both virtual and in-person attendees.
- Maintain records of promotional stock and assist in ordering new merchandise.
- Organisational Support:
- Assist with organising departmental documents, tracking approvals, and managing timelines.
- Upload documents and content to the website back-end, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Help research new ideas for marketing campaigns, events, and merchandise.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Eager to learn and develop within a marketing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong communicators with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinkers with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing, events, or administrative roles is an advantage but not essential.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools, or content management systems is a plus.
