International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Opens Registration for 2026 Annual Members Event in Budapest

The International Well Control Forum (IWCF) invites its members to register for the Annual Members Event, taking place on the 9–10 September 2026 at the Hilton Budapest, Hungary.

Following the success of the 2025 event in Istanbul, Turkey, this in-person event is designed to give members more time to connect face-to-face, share insights, and engage with peers from across the global well control community. Members can expect a full programme of expert insights, networking opportunities, and exhibitor showcases, offering valuable opportunities to explore the latest developments in well control.

Unlike previous combined Member and Annual General Meeting (AGM) events, the 2026 Annual Members Event will be held separately from the AGM, allowing for a dedicated focus on member engagement and professional development. While the detailed agenda is still being finalised, attendees can look forward to an engaging experience that supports IWCF’s mission of defining and maintaining the highest standards in well control training, accreditation and certification.

“This event is an exciting opportunity for members to come together, share expertise, and strengthen professional relationships,” said Zdenek Sehnal, IWCF CEO. “We look forward to welcoming our members in Budapest for an engaging and insightful experience.”

Registration is now open exclusively for IWCF members. Members have been notified via the IWCF Portal, Information Notices, and other communications. Further updates, including the confirmed programme and list of exhibitors, will be shared as planning progresses.

Individuals who are not currently members and wish to attend can contact membership@iwcf.org for details on joining IWCF and securing a place at the event.
