SBT Petroleum Geoscience Limited is a Nigerian technical company comprised of professional petroleum engineers, geologists, and technical support personnel with diversified backgrounds in all phases of the petroleum industry.

One of our key areas is Manpower Development whereby we train oil and gas personnel in one technical course or the other. We package and tailor our training to the needs of our clients.

SBT Petroleum Geoscience is a member of International Well Control Forum that is situated in United Kingdom. With this membership, SBT Petroleum Drilling School is now at accreditation stage, to be able to issue the internationally recognized certificates in drilling such as IWCF Level 1, IWCF Level 2, IWCF Level 3, IWCF Level 4 and IWCF Level 5 to participants.

We are also a member of Oil and Gas Association of Nigeria (OGTAN)

Another arm of our training is SBT Petroleum Geoscience School. This is a diploma certificate training approved by Nigerian Board for Technical Education. The objectives of this training is to bridge the gap between university and industry. This is a six-month program that runs from soft skills, through theory to practical. 30% of the program is theory while the 70% is purely dedicated to practical with software that are applicable in oil and gas industry.

SBT Petroleum Geoscience has put in place Online Training Facility. This is also known as computer-based training (CBT), distance learning, or e-learning, online training is a form of instruction that takes place completely on the internet. These are used in lieu of traditional classroom components.

SBT Petroleum Geoscience Limited organizes trainings on weekends at no extra cost, because of the working class who do not have time during the weekdays. The times and dates are agreed on by SBT Petroleum Geoscience Limited and the participant (s). Every mechanism is place in order not to reduce the man hour assigned to each course and not to reduce the quality of the trainings.
