Training Centre

We have recently introduced a new accreditation structure which offers a significant reduction in accreditation fees and increased flexibility for training centres.

From the 1st January 2019 we have:

  • Significantly reduced the cost of applying for IWCF centre accreditation
  • Secondary and temporary centres have been renamed 'associate' centres and will be granted 12 months accreditation
  • Introduced an annual accreditation renewal fee for primary and associate centres, which will be rolled out from 2020.

Fees

From the 1st January 2019, the new accreditation fees are as follows:

Primary Centre*: £2,500  / €3,000 / $3,750

Associate Centre: £1,500  / €1,800 / $2,250

Update (Associate to Primary): £1,000  / €1,200 / $1,500

Administration Fee: £200  / €240 / $300

Annual Renewal Fee

Primary centre: £995

Associate centre: £495***

*Fifty percent of the primary centre accreditation fee is payable on application and is non-refundable.

**The administration fee will be charged when a centre makes a change to their accreditation. This will include, but is not limited to, change of location, change of name or where a primary centre with an existing associate centre applies to have a new associate centre accredited.

***Only one associate centre renewal fee will apply regardless of the number of associate centres linked to the primary centre. For example, if a primary centre has 3 associate centres, they will only pay one associate centre renewal fee.

How to Apply

Accreditation for training centres is open to members only. You can apply for IWCF membership here.

Once your membership is approved, you will receive a username and password for the Members Only section of the IWCF website where you can download an accreditation application pack.

You will be asked to provide details of physical resources, staff resources, management systems and training materials as part of the accreditation process to ensure programmes can be delivered to IWCF standards. Please note that accreditation applications will take a minimum of 20 days to be reviewed and can take longer if further supporting evidence is required.

If an application is successful, the centre will be granted provisional approval which allows the centre to hold courses. An invigilator and IWCF auditor will attend the first examination to ensure best practice and verify the evidence provided.  Once the audit is complete the centre will be granted either an Outright Accreditation, Accreditation with Actions or No Accreditation.

Following a successful accreditation, centres may apply for to add associate centres.  Associate centre accreditation is valid for 12 months and are subject to an audit in line with the current 4 year audit cycle.
