  • IWCF Certification Programmes are only conducted at training centres that have been accredited by IWCF.
  • Enquiries regarding availability and registration for programmes should be addressed directly to the accredited training centres.
  • Accredited centres set their own fees for candidate attendance on training and certification programmes, but they will usually include the following IWCF Fees in their quoted course fees: -

IWCF Candidate Registration Fee:   GB pounds 20.00 (includes up to 2 'Re-sit sessions).
IWCF Examination Administration Fees:  GB pounds 10.00 per test paper (Well Intervention Equipment papers are treated as one paper) plus test material delivery costs.
Local Administration Fees:  These fees will vary from country to country and include, local administration charges, Invigilation fees and test material return costs.

  • Successful candidates receive an IWCF certificate from the centre where they successfully completed the programme.
  • IWCF does not allow the issue of duplicate or replacement certificates in the event of loss.  If a certificate is issued with incorrect information, it must be returned to the original issuing centre for correction (photocopies or electronic copies are not accepted.
  • IWCF will issue 'Letters of Confirmation' to candidates who have not received or have lost their certificate.  See Certificate Confirmation for details of this procedure.
  • The certificate is valid for two years from the date of successful completion of the programme.
  • There is no period of grace when a certificate expires.
  • The holder of an IWCF certificate may not re-sit the certification programme at the same level within a period less than twelve months from the issue date of their current certificate, without the express permission of the Secretariat.
  • The holder of a current `Driller' level certificate may sit the `Supervisor' certification programme at any time.
  • Candidates who pass at least one of the components of the test programme at their first sitting will be able to re-sit the failed components, if this is achieved within two calendar months of the initial test date, otherwise they must sit the complete programme again.
  • Candidates are allowed a maximum of two re-sits during the two-month re-sit period.
  • Re-sits of written test papers may be conducted at any IWCF accredited centre.
  • Candidates who fail the programme after the maximum number of re-sits must re-register as new candidates if they wish to re-attempt the programme.
  • Candidates may not re-register until at least 30 days after the date of the last failed re-sit test session.
